Course Content:

The course covers The Health & Safety at Work Act and the regulations relevant to the Construction Industry (and other workplaces), including:

  • Site set up
  • Scaffolding
  • CDM
  • Confined Spaces
  • Risk assessment
  • Demolition
  • Method statements
  • Excavations
  • Electricity

Method of Study:

Candidates are involved in a range of activities which draw on the group's experience and develop a wider understanding of their responsibilities. There is a final test to confirm their understanding of the legislation.

Who will benefit:

This course is appropriate for everyone involved in line management including foremen, supervisors, site managers, project managers, as well as proprietors of smaller companies. It ensures that line managers have the training in Health and Safety required by HSE.
